DIGITAL ART
The fascination for technology as an overarching theme of our generation drives me to expand my artistic practice into the digital realm. I use digital art as a way to put ideas that feel important to me out into the world, even before knowing exactly what they mean, or are supposed to represent. To me, this is the whole point of (art) making. Trusting the process and being in the moment. Doing things in alignment with your own nature, in the most honest way possible. Finding expressions for your inner world, and making it tangible or experienceable. Digital art is an extremely powerful tool to visualize ideas, and get your ideas out there. And there is this inherently conceptual nature of digital art that intrigues me. The non-physicality of the medium makes the artwork more honest. Art lives in the intellectual and emotional dimensions - therefore, if art itself is not physical, why should an artwork be? The artwork is just the key to the experience of it.Some of the displayed works may be translated into physical pieces on request - others are meant to be digital only.

“Digital Atom” proposes an analogy between pixels and atoms. Just as atoms form the foundation of the physical world, pixels are a fundamental building block for digital experiences.
