TRIPITY UFS3
2024 | The Tripity Underground Fashion Show offered an ideal platform to showcase recent findings of textile embellishment research on post-consumer garment collages. Six months of upcycling research with support by the TaDA (Textile and Design Alliance) artist residency and the ProHelvetia Starting Programme led to the creation of a capsule collection featuring nine distinct looks. The main aim of the project was to research and integrate scalable embellishment techniques into the upcycling process of post consumer garments and deadstock materials. For more details on the research part of the project, you can watch the final presentation of the TaDA Residency on YouTube.
